Woodhall Spa Cricket Club made it a hat trick of wins in major 20/20 competitions this season when they beat Bracebridge Heath by eight wickets in the inaugural final of the Stephen Bradford Memorial Trophy.
Overseas star Malinga Bandara took the man-of-the-match award after a terrific all round performance.
Bracebridge set the early the pace and had posted 38 on the board off the first four overs.
However, the introduction of Jonny Cheer and the ever impressive Alex King stemmed the run flow and wickets began to tumble.
Cheer picked up two wickets, Connor Parsons one, Ben O’Brien one and Bandara took three in his final over to finish with figures of 4-17 from four overs and restrict Bracebridge to 105.
In reply, Spa got off to their customary flyer thanks to O’Brien who smashed a quickfire 20 and Cheer (24).
After they went, it was left to Sam Evison (16 not out) and Bandara (38 not out) to finish off the match and clinch another trophy.
