Lincoln & District Sunday League
Bracebridge Heath 135
Woodhall Spa 137-4
Bracebridge Heath won the toss and elected to bat, but were soon in trouble.
Woodhall dismissed their openers for one run, with Jack Cooke bowling out Himesh Silva (1) and Henry Wilson running out Alex Moor for a duck.
Bracebridge skipper Carl Stubbs tried to stitch things together but only got as far as 22 before he was bowled by Alex King.
King then took the wickets of Matthew Bradley (7) and Matthew Knights (1), caught by Kieran Richardson and Matthew Sargeant respectively.
Top scorer Steven Scott (40) was caught by Christopher Anderson, off a Henry Wilson delivery, but had little support from James Holden and Max Moor whose wickets were claimed by Etienne Botham, the former caught and bowled.
Wilson bowled out Sam Freeman for 30 and Oliver Stringer was caught by Jack Timby off a Botha ball, leaving Alexander Hardy (12no) at the crease as Bourne were all out in the 33rd over.
To add to his three wickets, Botha also impressed with the bat, notching 53 runs to form the backbone of the innings before he was bowled by Knights.
Fellow opener Sargeant only managed three runs when he was stumped by Stubbs off the bowling of Hardy.
Stubbs caught Timby (9) and Anderson (18) off the bowling of Alex Moor and Scott respectively.
Sam Evison (23no) and Jack Luffman (15) remained staunchly at the crease as Spa reached their target in 28 overs.
