A FANTASTIC end to Woodhall Spa U8s' season came with a well deserved win over Metheringham.
Spa were unsteady in the first ten minutes and soon went a goal down.

This made them more determined with some fantastic team work from everyone and some great shots from Ed and Jamie Ridell, but every time they were blocked.

It seemed it wasn'
t going to be Woodhall's day until Jamie Jenkins equalised later in the half.

This started the ball rolling when throwing in a few tricks the team did some great passing and a long shot from Scott set up Jamie for his second of the game. Metheringham worked hard and Woodhall needed to be on their toes.

A fantastic save from Kai Stephenson, the player of the match, kept them in the game. Jamie was soon on the ball again and volleyed it into the top left corner to get his hat trick.

Next came a great run from Stan Clark down the wing taking it into the box and firing it into the net for the fourth goal and then Jamie finished it off with his fourth.

A brilliant first season for all the boys, well done to you all and thank you to all the parents for there support, but most of all, thanks go to the coach Simon Clark who has been brilliant with them all and helped make the team what it is.
