Eden and William net pairs trophy as Emma lands a cracking tench

JUNIOR members of Horncastle Angling Club fished for the J Reeves Trophy and held a pairs contest on Wednesday.
William Todd was first in the trophy match with 8lb 8oz, Damien Robinson was second with 6lb 1oz, Shannan Day was third with 5lb 8oz and Charlie Finch was fourth with 4lb 8oz.

Emma Boon landed the biggest fish on the night with a 3lb 10oz tench and Russell Elder caught the most fish with 47.

William Todd and Eden Major won the pairs competition.

Friday saw members compete in the fourth round of the Pit Shield.

Jay Barton was first with 16lb 14oz, Nev Soulby was second with 15lb 11oz, Matthew Hassall was third with 9lb 1oz and Darren Gowshall was fourth with 7lb 7oz.

Senior members fished at West Fields in Boston on Sunday. Darren Gowshall was first with 18lb 9oz, Kev Soulby was second with 18lb 8oz, Tony Cocker third with 17lb 6oz, and Nev Soulby was fourth with 17lb 2oz.
