Wragby Primary School has said farewell to one of its long-serving members of staff after more than 10 years.

Margaret Kane is pictured at a farewell retirement presentation during morning assembly last Thursday with children from all the seven classes.

Mrs Kane has been a teaching assistant at the school since 2003 and during that time has worked in various settings with the children.

Her farewell gifts included Tiffany jewellery and flowers from the staff, together with books of pictures and drawings from the pupils.

To end her day, she spent the evening enjoying the school’s Hallowe’en disco.
