Christmas Fayre and WI events

WI news - A visit to the Theatre Royal at Lincoln to see Sister Act was enjoyed by 13 members.

The next outing is an after hours visit to M & Co in Louth, followed by a meal at Wetherspoons.

At this month’s meeting, Andrew Durkan, from Sills and Betteridge Solicitors, gave an informative and enlightening talk about making a will and also lasting power of attorney.

Flower of the month was won by Margaret Kane, with C Scourfield second and Marilyn Moore third.

The competition for three iced cakes was won by Elaine Eccles, with Marilyn Moore second.

Money from this year’s Christmas card tree, together with half the raffle, will go to the Wragby defibrillator fund.

Subs will be due in January and will be £37.50 per person.

Christmas Fayre - The Christmas fayre will be held in the town hall this Friday, November 27, from 6pm.

Santa will be calling, the children will be singing and there will be plenty of stalls.
