Hold on to your hats and uniforms - this year’s Woodhall Spa 40’s Festival looks set to be the biggest and best ever.
The festival is now established as one of the most popular events in the area and will be held on July 19 and 20.
Thousands of visitors are expected to pack into Woodhall.
Organisers are promising a packed weekend of entertainment for families, young and old.
A Festival spokesman said: “This is only our third year but we are attracting visitors, display groups and enthusiasts from across the country.
“All the campsites, hotels and B&B’s in the area are fully booked.”
The 2014 Festival will feature:
*Living history groups
*Vintage vehicle displays
*WW2 military vehicle displays
*Double decker bus trips
*Battle of Britain Memorial Flight fly pasts.
There will be a host of other attractions, based at various locations in the village - including Jubilee Park.
An added bonus is that the vast majority of the concerts and living history displays are free - except for a couple of ticket only events in the evening.
A number of special events are sold out, including a Saturday night dinner dance at St Hugh’s Hall featuring Lola Lamour and Brandyn Shaw.
Tickers are still available for an afternoon tea dance featuring a swing band. That will be held at Coronation Hall on the Saturday afternoon.
Earlier in the day (11-12.30) Coronation Hall will also be the venue for a children’s street party.
It will feature a fancy dress competition, vintage games, music and refreshments.
