After a few years of low level activity and following recent renewed interest by members of the local community, Woodhall Spa Lions Club is back with a roar.

During October, Budgens, the library, the post office and the Lincolnshire Co-op all collected unwanted spectacles on behalf of the Lions, which will be graded and recycled for use in countries in the developing world.

Woodhall Spa Lions Club president Margaret visited them all to express her gratitude and to present certificates of appreciation.

The Lions will be having a charity fundraising stall at the Woodhall Spa Christmas Fayre on December 4 and will be hosting the Sports Relief Mile at the Woodhall Spa Cricket ground on Sunday, March 20.
