UPDATE: Horncastle man stable in hospital after collision near Bucknall this morning

A Horncastle man has been airlifted to hospital with multiple serious injuries following a collision this morning, Tuesday June 2.

The collision, which happened around 8.30am, took place on an unclassified road off the B1190 near Bucknall and involved a Honda motorbike and a Renault Clio.

The motorcyclist, a 46-year-old man from Horncastle, suffered multiple fractures and internal injuries and was flown by air ambulance to Hull Royal Infirmary, where his condition is described as stable.

The driver of the Clio was uninjured.
