Horncastle Methodist Chapel’s coffee, cake and chat group celebrates its first anniversary this month.
It was started in October, 2014, to give people the chance to socialise while enjoying a cuppa and a slice of cake. It runs in the chapel hall every Tuesday morning.
Visitors pay £1 for refreshments, with any surplus being donated to various charities, and some weeks there are crafts or fun exercises to enjoy. This year’s holiday at home event was also a triumph, with the seaside-themed days filled with a wide range of activities, including crafts, fun exercises, quizzes, music, poems and plenty of entertainment.
Lots of photographs were taken and will be available to view at the chapel.
