A local company has been “inspired to help” a Horncastle based medical charity look after Lincolnshire residents.
Calver Wealth management, based in Wood Enderby, has just donated £1,000 to LIVES.
Steve Calver of Calver Wealth Management, Partner Practice of St. James’s Place, said: “Having lived in Lincolnshire since 2002, I’ve been inspired by the hard work and professionalism of Steve Hyde and the team at LIVES.
“St. James’s Place has a charity arm called ‘The Foundation’ which since its inception in 1992 has raised and distributed almost £34 million to causes operating in the United Kingdom and abroad.
“It is an absolute pleasure to able to give back into the local community and to such an important area of need..”
Steve Hyde, from LIVES, pictured with Steve Calver said: “LIVES are thrilled that Steve has obtained a donation of £1,000 to help us with the charity work we do in Lincolnshire.”
The funds will be used to help fund the three local LIVES medics that operate around the Horncastle area.
Mr Hyde added: “Steve approached me at a local business club and said he had spoken with his head office to obtain a donation for us after hearing of the important work we do in the area and around Lincolnshire.
“It was a wonderful surprise to find that Steve had managed to get us £1,000, a huge amount which will certainly go a long way in supporting our medics.”
