The tradition of laying a Christmas wreath at the grave of former Horncastle woman Susan Jobson has taken place.

Mrs Jobson died in 1915 but the will of her son George - who died in 1926 - provided funds to help youth and community projects in the town.

Down the years, hundreds of children have benefited.

The wreath laying is part of that legacy and staff and pupils from Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School and Banovallum School - including headteachers Heather Payne and Nicki Shore - are pictured at this year’s ceremony, along with members of the Jobson Turst.
