When a new business opened in Coningsby, owner Trevor Pattinson decided it was a good opportunity to engage with the local community and raise money for a worthy cause.
To celebrate the opening of the Silver Street Deli, a prize draw was held, raising £80.
Trevor asked people to nominate a charity to receive the proceeds and the winner was Jacdor Community Pre-school.
“I grew up in the village, so have a strong belief in supporting the community and I look forward to serving the village for many years to come,” said Trevor. “May I also say a huge thank-you to all who bought raffle tickets and for nominating Jacdor.”
