Six days have been set aside for an official Government inquiry into controversial plans for a housing development in Horncastle.
A Government inspector will hear evidence from developers, planners and campaigners regarding plans for more than 300 houses at Langton Hill.
Developers Gladman have appealed against a decision by East Lindsey District Council’s planning officers to reject their initial plan.
Since then, Gladman have submitted a revised application for the site, involving fewer homes.
Both schemes have been strongly opposed by a residents’ action group.
The inquiry will start at 10am on Wednesday September 17 at be the former Horncastle College site off Mareham Road.
