Plans for an application of 80 homes to be built on land at Louth Road have been submitted to East Lindsey District Council.
Larkfleet Homes submitted the application to ELDC on February 17 and last week updated the application with plans for the site layout as well as flood risk, ecological and landscape assessments.
According to the planning statement the land totals 3.21 hectares and lies wholly within ‘Flood Zone 1’ - where there is less than a 1/1000 chance of flooding occurring each year.
The 80 homes will consist of two, three, four and five bedroom houses with informal parkland, retained and additional tree planting and an equipped children’s play area.
The plans also propose that the 40mph speed limit should be relocated further northwards along Louth Road to ‘minimise risks to safe access and egress from the proposed development’.
The plan can be viewed on the East Lindsey planning portal by searching for the application number S/086/00306/14.
