Planners at East Lindsey District Council are recommending approval of an application for 50 new homes in Woodhall Spa.
An application by Broadgate Homes for the development at Witham Road is due to go before ELDC’s planning committee tomorrow (Thursday).
But planning officers are supporting the scheme - with a number of conditions attached.
In their application, Broadgate said it is proposing the type of low cost and affordable housing which is badly needed in the area.
Woodhall Spa Parish Council has backed the scheme but stress it would like to see the applicant work with the Waterways Partnership and Highways to extend a cycle way to Kirkstead Bridge.
Owners of nine neighbouring properties have objected on a number of issues including the fact that Witham Road is already “dangerous”. They also say local services will not cope.
