It will be “snow” joke for people living in Woodhall Spa this winter - unless more volunteers come forward to help shift snow.
The village parish council has been forced to revise its snow and ice plan because only four people have volunteered to clear local footways.
The council warns that because of the shortfall, only a limited number of routes will be cleared and gritted.
They say that if more people come forward to help, the snow and ice plan will be adapted to take of additional routes.
Anyone interested in volunteering should contact the Parish Office.
It is open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am-1pm in Stanhope Avenue. A copy of the snow and ice plan can also be viewed at the office.
