Residents in East Lindsey now have until Monday January 20 to express their views on services provided by the district council after the consultation deadline was extended.
The authority is currently in the process of developing its new corporate strategy, which will identify the priorities for the council from April 2014.
Council leader Doreen Stephenson said the council’s finances were under enormous pressure due to significant funding reductions and tough choices and difficult decisions had to be made. The responses from the consultation will help them focus where funding is most important.
She added: “In developing the new corporate strategy it is important the council understands the needs and views of residents and the council would like to encourage local people to take the time to respond to the consultation, which will help to shape the future of the district.

One consultee will be chosen at random to win a hamper of Lincolnshire Produce.
