A Horncastle businessman is still demanding answers from East Lindsey District Council about last month’s controversial by-election.
The News exclusively revealed last week how ELDC failed to print and send out more than 2,000 polling cards.
Richard Ingram-Hill confirmed he has reported ELDC to the Electoral Commission and is pressing for an official investigation.
The News has also seen correspondence sent to Mr Ingram-Hill which reveals one of the three candidates in the by-election has asked the Commission to look into the matter.
Mr Ingram Hill said: “ELDC still have not explained why almost half the polling cards were not sent out.”
ELDC insist the election, won by Richard Avison for the Conservatives, was “legal and valid.”
