Crowds came out in force for the annual Remembrance Day parades in Horncastle and surrounding villages on Sunday.
Veterans lined up alongside young families in what proved to be emotional and well attended events in Woodhall Spa, East Barkwith, Coningsby, Tattershall and Wragby.
The Horncastle parade and service featured mayor Councillor Angela Birchall and several other leading officials, including County Councillor Bill Aron.
In Woodhall Spa, the parade was attended by East Lindsey District Council leader Craig Leyland and Parish Council chairman David Clarke.
Veteran Frank Anderson, who served with the RAF in Woodhall Spa during the Second World War, said: “It was good to see so many people attend.
“There are fewer veterans every year but we should never forget the sacrifices that were made in the War - and are still being made by servicemen today.”
His granddaughter Karen, aged 11, said: “I’m proud of grandad and I saw him marching today. He was really brave and I love to listen to his stories.”
