One of the world’s top Paralympic cyclists will be the guest speaker at the first ever sportsman’s dinner to be held a The Inn at Woodhall Spa.
Jon-Allan Butterworth, an ex-RAF weapons’ technician and three times silver medal winning paralympian will entertain guests at the event on April 21.
In conjunction with Jon-Allan’s background and the heritage of the area, The Inn is hosting the event in aid of ‘Help For Heroes’.
They have listened to customer feedback and managed to find a speaker who will be inspirational, motivational and captivating and one who should hold resonance with the heritage of the area.
The Inn’s general manager, Nick Prowse, said:“We are really excited about our first sportsman’s dinner.
“We have worked hard to find the right speaker and think that Jon-Allan is someone who will be of interest to many people in the area.
“It will be a great evening.”
Jon-Allan, who recently appeared on Channel Four’s ‘The Jump’, will discuss his RAF background, his injuries and his sporting achievements.
He will display his cycling equipment and take part in a question and answer session.
Tickets (£45) include a three course meal and the evening starts at 7.30pm.
