There was special cause for celebration in Woodhall Spa as regular tea dance organist Nicholas Martin was
awarded his British Empire Medal (BEM) in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List.

Celebrations were held at the first Tea Dance of the year at Coronation Hall, after he was given the honour as co-founder of the charity “Miracles to Believe In” for services to Autistic children and their families.

Nicholas plays one Saturday evening and one Tuesday afternoon each month, for the dances presented by Phil & Delia Groves.
