Matthew Scrawston is coming home to work as a farrier in Scamblesby.

Matthew was awarded honours in his final exams to become a farrier.

The last time anyone was awarded honours was four years ago.

Matthew, who lives at Brook House Farm, had to study for five years which included a year’s pre-farriery course at Warwickshire College and four years of apprenticeship in Leicestershire.

He travelled to London for his presentation (pictured above) from the Master of the Worshipful Company of Farriers.
