Louth man (83) sentenced for driving without due care and attention near Horncastle

An 83-year-old man has been sentenced after being found guilty of driving without due car and attention.

Ronald Stephens, of Taylor Gardens, Louth, committed the offence on Bluestone Heath Road, near Horncastle, on May 16 last year.

He was found guilty of the offence under the Single Justice Procedure at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on March 6, and he was ordered to pay an £85 fine.

He was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

Four penalty points were added to his driving record.
