Welcome to the Parish

Pictured after sunday morning`s Crib and Carol service at St Stephens church Hatton is the Venerable Tim Barker Archdeacon of Lincoln with parishioners of the Hemingby Group of Churches where he blessed two donkeys, which were brought from the neighbouring village of Sotby by owners Paul and Anna Nowak.This is the first visit by the Archdeacon as the Southwold Group of parishes have now become part of the reorganised Archdeaconry of Lincoln.

Two donkeys from the neighbouring village of Sotby were taken along by Anna and Paul Nowak to St Stephens Church, Hatton where they welcomed parishioners from the Hemingby Group of Parishes to the Crib and Carol Service.

Phyl Durow, lay minister was assisted by the Venerable Tim Parker, Archdeacon of Lincoln.

This was his first visit to the South Wold Group of Parishes.
