We’re just singing in the rain - and we’re happy!

Sir Joseph Banks Garden

Sir Joseph Banks Garden

In some ways, it is one of Horncastle’s best kept secrets.

It provides a display of colour in an otherwise largely urban landscape.

Tucked away off Bridge Street, the Sir Joseph Banks Tribute Garden is always a popular attraction.

And, visitors were definitely singing in the rain last weekend when the garden opened to the public as part of the National Gardens Scheme.

These three people ([pictured above) certainly weren’t going to let rain dampen their spirits.

The NHS scheme raises thousands of pounds every year for various charities, including Marie Cure Cancer Care.
