Intrepid volunteers will be walking 103 miles from the Humber Bridge to Stamford to raise awareness for LIVES.
LIVES Clinical Director Doctor Yvonne Owen is leading hte walk which starts at 8am on Thursday morning.
12 LIVES responders and Dr Owen will be walking 40 miles to Horncastle on the first day and from Horncastle to Bourne, 38 miles on the second day.
On the final day they will walk to Stamford, aiming to be at the Hospital for 3pm.
The aim is to draw attention to the vital work LIVES does in Lincolnshire, North and North East Lincolnshire, attending 18,500 emergency 999 calls and helping to save over 200 lives last year.
All LIVES responders and medics are volunteers, giving up their spare time to help people who have dialled 999 in their community.
Over the last four years, the organisation has become 50 per cent busier but has received no extra financial support from the government.
You can support the walkers by donating online at www.lives.org.uk or by texting RESP14£1 to 70070 to donate £1 - you can vary the amount you donate by changing the number at the end - eg. RESP14£5 or RESP14£10.
