The weather forecasters say it is going to get a lot warmer later this week - and that has to be good news for Leah Kendle.
She’s probably feeling the cold after having her beloved hair completely shaved off last Saturday.
As far as Leah is concerned, her new look is worth every penny...and a lot more.
Leah organised a charity event in Woodhall Spa and is well on the way to raising £2,000 for the ‘Big C’ cancer unit in Norwich.
Leah is raising the money after her father-in-law Philip lost his battle against cancer shortly before last Christmas.
The head shave was the highlight of a fun-filled day which also included a host of stalls and other forms of entertainment.
Leah said: “It was absolutely incredible. I am sporting my new look and loving it.
“The turnout was amazing and I was completely overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity.
“I was a little emotional just before the head shave when my husband spoke about his dad but it helped me focus on why we were there.
“I want to thank everyone who has supported me. My initial target was £500 so I am incredibly proud.”
