Spooktacular celebrations have been taking place around the region this week as Halloween approaches.
At Tattershall Castle a week of events included ghost walks, fancy dress, crafts and ended with the hugely popular Pumpkin Party.
In addition visitors could design their own spooky biscuits and those children who arrived in costume not only enjoyed free entry but were able to take part in the fancy dress competition.
Tatty the Witch was also on hand to greet visitors, which all added to the atmosphere in the castle.
At Stanhope Hall in Horncastle a fundraising Halloween party was organised in aid of When You Wish Upon A Star, which offers once in a lifetime experiences to seriously ill children.
The party was the brainchild of Kay Offord, who set up Rhiannen’s Angel’s after her six-year-old daughter was born with a rare heart condition.
Kay has seen first hand the great work When You Wish Upon a Star do and the party raised more than £500 for the charity.
Such was the success of the evening, Kay said they ae already thinking about organising a Christmas fundraising party.
There was also a Halloween themed roller disco at the Stanhope Hall, organised by Lincolnshire Co-op.
