Toddling raises cash for causes

Armed with teddy bears and sporting pyjamas, around 20 toddlers braved the rain showers to take part in a sponsored toddle at Banovallum School in Horncastle on Saturday morning.

The children completed two laps of the perimeter of the school’s sports field to raise money for SANDS – the Stillbirth and Neotal Death Society and also the Queen Street Methodist Church Hall Parent and Toddler Group in Horncastle. Organiser Penny Baxter said the rain did not spoil the event. “We all stuck it out and the kids thought it was great,” she said.
