Taxi Tehran set for Louth Film Club
Director Jafar Panahi has been banned for making films for 20 years.
So he rigged a taxi with three hidden video cameras and secretly filmed a drive around the Iranian capital, ferrying an intriguing assortment of passengers – presumably actors for the most part.

Hide AdSignificantly, there are no end titles: collaborators are not named for their own safety.
LFC chair Paul Hill commented: “Panahi shows what can be done to show both tension and humour in straightened circumstances.”
The film will be shown from 7.30pm at the Playhouse Cinema in Cannon Street.
