Police are warning residents to be vigilant after suspicious people supposedly collecting for charity were reported in the Dogdyke Road area of Coningsby.
The incident took place at 9.24pm on Tuesday, February 4. The group did not ask for money and appear to have been asking for bank details to collect money via direct debit.
The only details known are that the group contained a white male, in his 30s wearing a light blue/grey 3/4 length jacket and was accompanied by a white female who appeared younger in age.
No details are known of the company they were collecting on behalf of.
If you experience any similar incident it is important that identification is checked and verified and if necessary police are called, via 101, to ascertain the validity of charity collectors.
