Staff at the Conginsby-based Battle of Britain Memorial Flight are celebrating after a bumper 2012.

All the signs suggest this year could be even more successful with the star attraction promnising to be a Spitfire TE311. It has been painstakingly restored to flying condition, work having started in 2001. It has already taken to the skies after a 58-year absence and will be part of the BBMF’s displays in 2013.
