Spirit of the Marsh returns to the coast

The Spirit of the Marsh big weekend is back for another year, celebrating the talents, knowledge and energy of our coastal region.

Festivities are set to take place in Trusthorpe, on the main A52 road between Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea and will take place from Friday, April 29 to Monday, May 2.

A veritable feast of entertainment will be provided as well as music vocalists, including Merlins Keep, Leafblade, Whiskey before Breakfast and Rhythm and Grooves.

There will also be performances from Circulus, James J Turner, Sylvester Peat Cutter and the Twilight Bloggers, Sandfly, The Ben Havilah Revolution, Amy Naylor, Grimsby Sambalada, and Robots Found Errors to name but a few.

Plus there will be talks from Steve Johnson (psychic) and many others including healers, tarot readers and holistic therapists.

This year’s annual event will be packed with, workshops to keep you busy, make your own willow crowns, canjos, music, meditations, plenty of Pagan and spiritual ceremonies, holistic therapists, Arabian Delights belly dancers, and children’s entertainment.

There will also be food and refreshments and, of course, the Beltane fire.

Alford Morris will be attending the event and heading over to the beach on Sunday, May 1 to dance and wake up the Sun.
