Residents in Woodhall Spa are urged to be vigilant after two incidents involving suspicious callers at the weekend.
Police say one was a young male in his late teens/early 20s claiming to be selling items in order to pay for a cure for his dyslexia.
The second incident involved two males in their 30s claiming to be looking for gardening work in the area.
PCSO Nicola Stuchfield said “Although most callers are genuine, bogus callers can appear very plausible so remain vigilant. If you require any advice on door step crime or any crime prevention, or if you have any further information regarding the incidents over the weekend. Please call myself on 07939312926, there is an answer service and I will get back to you ASAP. Alternatively you could e-mail me firstname.lastname@example.org”
