The officer in charge of policing in the Horncastle area is scheduled to be among the guests at the Town Council’s annual parish meeting on Tuesday April 1.
Inspector Terry Ball is expected to present a report on crime in the Wolds Division that included Horncastle, Woodhall Spa, Coningsby and Wragby.
Recent figures produced by the police indicate significant reductions in all forms of crime during the last 12 months.
Other items on the agenda include a presentation by the Lincolnshire Credit Union and a report by town council chairman Fiona Martin.
Reports are also expected from the town’s County Councillor Bill Aron and two district councillors.
The meeting will be held at 7pm in the Conference Hall at Horncastle College.
It is open to the public and there is an agenda item for questions from electors.
