Police appeal after commercial burglary in New York

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for information after a commercial premises in New York was targeted by thieves twice in three days.

The offenders entered the yard at the premises in Mill Lane some time between 6.30pm on Sunday June 22 and 9am the following morning.

A number of sheds were entered and fuel pumps, radiators, and other vehicle parts stolen from cars inside.

The second incident occurred some time between 8.30pm on Wednesday June 25 and 6am the following morning.

The offenders forced entry to a workshop and stole an orange leaf blower, a red chainsaw (both made by Stihl) and approximately 150 litres of diesel from a tank.

It is believed they drove across a neighbouring field to access the premises and police are appealing to anyone who saw suspicious activity to contact them.

Anyone with information should call 101 quoting incident number 219 of June 23.
