Horncastle Police have launched a number of initiatives to ensure people feel safe and secure over the Halloween and Bonfire Night period.
Traditionally, this time of year can see a rise in reports of anti social behaviour.
To coincide with Halloween, tomorrow (Thursday), a joint event is being held in Horncastle involving the Neighbourhood Policing Team and the local children’s centre.
The mobile police station will be parked near Tesco in Watermill Lane between 1pm and 5pm.
PCSO Nigel Wass will be joined by Amanda Smith, the Community Engagement Officer for the Horncastle, Tattershall and Spilsby Children’s Centre cluster.
Youngsters - and their parents - are invited to discover more about staying safe at Halloween and on Bonfire Night.
There will be prizes for the best Halloween costumes.
Officers and PCSOs will be on high visibility foot patrol around the town throughout tomorrow evening.
Local residents are reminded that they can pick up a ‘please don’t call here’ Halloween poster from Horncastle Police Station and the Horncastle News Office.
