Plan for new bungalows in Grimoldby has been refused
East Lindsey planners have refused an application by Helen Craggs to build three bungalows on land adjacent to Pennygate, off Middlesykes Lane in Grimoldby.
Although the application was recommended for approval by their chief officer, Chris Panton, the planning committee took the view that the proposed development would both harm the character of this part of the village and pose a traffic hazard.
“I’m not keen,” commented Coun Jim Swanson.
“It would not fit in - it would have an urbanising effect.”
