Locally, children from Edward Richardson Primary School in Tetford, Holy Trinity Primary in Tattershall, St Michael’s Primary, Coningsby, St Andrew’s Primary, Woodhall Spa, and Kirkby on Bain Primary School took part in the sponsored Sport Relief mile.

And last Thursday Horncastle Getaway Club held a fundraising evening with local band Just4 Kicks playing to the crowd at Horncastle Community Centre and helping to raise £88 from games, a raffle and homemade cakes.

Horncastle Primary pupil Patrick Fox and his dad Nick also managed to raise £260 by swimming 1.5km at Horncastle pool and then running a mile at Jubilee Park in Woodhall Spa with the support of mum Sue.
