Nominations for town council seat

TWO nominations have been put forward to fill the vacancy on Horncastle Town Council.

Thomas James Mumford of Brackenbury Close in Horncastle and Rosemary Hilda Williams of Baggaley Drive in Horncastle will stand for election on August 9.

Mr Mumford was nominated by Coun Sandra Campbell-Wardman and Coun Stephen Newton.

Ms Williams was nominated by Alan Lockwood and Coun Richard Barker.

The vacancy has arisen following the resignation of Roger Stephens earlier this year.
