Four Typhoon fighter jets took off from RAF Coningsby on Monday to patrol the skies above the Baltic states as part of an on-going Nato mission.

The jets will be based in Lithuania, along with around 100 RAF support staff. The Typhoons will take over from a US squadron at a time on increased tension in the region.
