The National Trust has announced the appointment of Sara Blair-Manning as Operations Manager for their Lincolnshire properties at Tattershall Castle, Gunby Hall and Woolsthorpe Manor.
Lincolnshire born and bred Sara originally hails from Louth and was brought up in Theddlethorpe and remembers visiting Tattershall Castle on many occasions as a child.
She has already been employed in managing historic properties having previously been House Manager at Alford Manor House before moving to the Peterborough area, where she was the CEO for the John Clare Trust.
The trust was responsible for raising the profile of the renowned Victorian Peasant poet John Clare and managing his birthplace.
Sara is looking forward to putting her experience to good use in her new role and is especially looking forward to working in the county again.
She said: “I am delighted to be working for the National Trust at these three amazing sites. The staff and volunteers at the sites are incredible and I would encourage anyone who thinks that they have some time to volunteer to get in touch with us.”
