Motorcyclist dies in Osgodby collision

A two vehicle collision on A1103 Top Road, Osgodby, sadly led to the death of a motorcyclist yesterday evening (Wednesday).

Emergency services were called to the collision, at the junction of Sand Lane, at 5.23pm on Wednesday evening.

Two vehicles were involved; a red Jaguar XS being driven by a local man, and an orange and grey Honda CBR motorcycle.

Both vehicles were travelling east towards the A46, and the motorcyclist, a 47 year old man from the Cleethorpes area, sadly died at the scene of the collision. His family have been informed.

The driver and passenger in the Jaguar were not seriously injured.

Police are appealing for witnesses who were driving in the area around the time of the collision and who saw either vehicle being driven prior to the collision or the collision itself.
