An illegal rave has taken place at a farm in Waddingworth near Horncastle.
Police were called to the derelict Whitehouse Farm at around 2am this morning, Sunday October 20.
Nearby resident Paul Kime told the Horncatle News that the music could be heard from more than a mile away and, despite a police presence continued until 9am.
But Mr Kime criticised police for allowing the event to continue for seven hours and said he believed its organisers had evaded officers.
He added: “Local people are extremely angry at the lack of police involvement, which enabled the rave organisers to continue their event uninhibited until they were ready to leave this morning.
“This episode will no doubt now earmark Lincolnshire as an easy target for rave organisers.”
