Lee Mansi handed over a cheque worth £300 to Meningitis UK after taking part in a fundraiser which saw him dressed up as a Gorilla.

Lee’s, from Woodhall Spa, daughter Colette contracted meningitis when she was seven months old.

“I’m very pleased with the response from the community because it helps raise awareness about meningitis.” Lee said. “A lot of the money was donated by the Conservative Club.”
