Trustees of Horncastle War Memorial Centre have contributed £1,000 towards helping commemorate the 100th anniversary of the First World War.
The decision was made a recent meeting when trustees and members heard the NHS was now fully operational at the centre.
Trustees are registering as a charitable incorporated organisation with the Charity Commission.
The centre is run by a small group of people and would always welcome new members.
Chairman Bill Aron said: “The community group have been responsible for the centre for the past 13 or 14 years and the building is a great asset to the town”.
