Daisy Mills decided to have 17 inches of her hair cut off in aid of The Little Princess Trust.

“I was really nervous and a bit scared as I had never had short hair,” said Daisy, “but I knew I was doing this for a great cause.”

The Trust uses hair like Daisy’s into wigs to give to children who have no hair due to cancer treatment they are receiving.

Daisy’s friend, Rachel Bontoft, wielded the scissors for the charity cut and Daisy has also raised £246, so far, which will be sent to the Trust along with her hair.

“My friends at Kirkby on Bain C of E School love my new look and have been a great support,” added Daisy.

“I would like to say a big thank you to everyone that has sponsored me.”
