Cupcakes at RAF base for Prostate Cancer
RAF Coningsby
Flight Lieutenant Beth Fray (right) and Corporal Siobhan Foley have swapped their dental equipment for kitchen tools to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.
The pair work at the Dental Centre at RAF Coningsby and have visited sections of the station with a variety of cupcakes - selling more than 200 home made cupcakes, raising £238.91 so far.
Flt Lt Fray is also running the London Marathon later this year and hopes to raise £2,000.
She said: “I’m raising the money because men in my family have suffered from this disease, my grandfather and uncle. I’d like to say a big thank you to all those who helped in the baking and selling of the cupcakes and to all those who donated.”
