Council plans to sell Old Courthouse

Lincolnshire County Council is looking to sell one of Horncastle’s most iconic buildings.

The council is moving staff from the Old Courthouse and into the town’s Homeleigh offices.

It says the move will save £60,000 a year in running costs and a further £180,000 over the next 25 years in repairs and maintenance.

The council stresses there will be no changes to services and no job losses because of the move which officials say will make better of office space in Horncastle.
